About Us
The Raton Golf Course is a nine-hole course nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The surrounding scenery includes a gorgeous view of majestic New Mexico mesas and a variety of wildlife on and near the fairways. The Raton Golf Course opened in 1922.
The course features 2,869 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 69.4/113 from the women’s tees and 68.6/120 from the men’s tees.
This fun, challenging course offers the opportunity to golf 18 holes through the placement of additional t-boxes.
Golfers frequently see spectacular wildlife on this course, including wild turkeys, deer, and the occasional bear. Bring your clubs and your camera!
Our course is open to the public – visit green fees and reservations for more information.
- Women tee-off from yellow markers for the front nine, and red markers for the back nine for a Par 75.
- Men play white markers for the front nine, and blue markers for the back nine for a Par 71.
